could some help me with this prob.
way cant I turn models ??
if I have a tigertank it will only point in one direktion
and it would much, much more easy if could see
the model in hammer insted of that pink box
you need to get Hammer 3.5 (http://collective.valve-erc.com/data/docs/1050662008-07225900/files/hammer_testbuild04.zip) . its an over the top install. it lets you rotate and view models easily.

But is there anyway to freeze an animation from the first frame or have different animations show in it?

but how do I make it solid ?
so when you shut on it you will get a spark ?
and so cant walk throug it ?

If you want to shoot a specific area and get it to spark, like an engine or a light, you could have it triggered to a env_spark, but it's the new texture they added to 1.0. And to make it solid I think you have to make brushes to do so.

To make a model solid use A func_wall, with render mode set to "texture".

For model positioning, like click once in 3d if you use a mix of them, and click it again in 2d, or doulbeclick in 2d. This'll bring up the rotation selection box and you have to position it carefully in 3d. In the attachment, it took me a halfhour to properly get the tank to lean down the hill.
