Do you know any other tool out there that does this?
Do you know if there any tool out there that doesn't need to depend on multiple photos but only 1 photo?
Problem is: I have only 1 picture reference. Is there a way to reconstruct whatever is shown in that single picture and orient it properly by specifying the eye-level and vanishing point and x, y, axis??? I can't seem to get it right!

glidias, is that the one map that has "endless amounts of road" or something like that? whens it guna be done seems like youve been at it forever.
Programs like these expect you to be taking your own pictures, for quality. In a sense, it's like cheating and taking all of the skill out of modelling. However, these programs tend to misread certain shadows and such screwing the model but good, atleast in the two I've used.

where can i get a "trial" version of one of these types of programs ?
There's a demo on their website.
This is not what you people all seem to think these are. This won't create realistic weapon models, or players, or map models, or anything of the sort. It's going to create extremely high poly things that you won't be able to use. Learn a real program, there are no shortcuts in modelling.

Yeah, that's just what I was thinking when I read this thread. There are no shortcuts, the best way is always to just learn it and do it yourself.

Holy Scheiße!!! $900 bucks for that PoS??? Smells like Kazaa time for some people :D
It's not even worth it, these types of things are for architecture and such.
