[MReq] Cylinder

Just your basic, run-of-the-mill high-poly geometrical cylinder that any 3D program can make except Milkshape [which is what I'm using at the moment; yes, it makes that shape, but not as high-poly as I need at the moment]. I just need the cylinder; no mesh, no texture. Any size is fine. Please, something manageably less than 1000 polies [if it's adjustable].
If you'd like to send me one, wolf@entropy-sites.com has enough space to receive it. Preferably saved in a format I can import with Milkshape. ZIP'ed, RAR'ed or not is fine.
No, I don't need advice on what 3D program I should be using. I don't have the time or patience to handle anything more than Milkshape right this minute.
Thank you in advance for your help.

How many stacks and slices. I can make you a cylinder that has 200 stacks, and only 4 slices.

What I'm most concerned with is the amount of slices, so it looks as round as possible from any distance. Not so much how many stacks there are. I'll be sticking them end to end anyway as I need more. I imagine forty slices [ten per quarter] would be fun to work with.
Twenty stacks would make it easier, if it's not too much trouble.
Thanks a lot, man.

I happened to have maya open, so I made you a 30 sided cylinder.

i never realized that milkshape has a 32 limit for stacks or slices ;o
trigger thats only 31 slices you can do 32 in milkshape :D
btw what do you need such a big cylinder for:confused:

Thank you muchly, Trigger, but 30's just not enough, I'm afraid. :\
Gabagoo, I'm making a highly [extremely] detailed Tommy-style .45 bullet so I can use it in graphics for my clan. New sigs, et cetera. Huge project. While I can't really discuss the entire scope of the project, the .45's all I need the cylinder for. Probably use it for other reasons, too, eventually. *wink*wink* ;)

Thanks, sonique, but I get this error when trying to import it to Milkshape:
ERROR (7): ERR_UNFOUND_CHUNK: The database is missing important file chunks needed to fill out the requested structure. Usually caused by a corrupt database or file.
Any clue what that means?

i just imported it into lithunwrap and gave it a UV now it imports into milk :)
How about you just have someone make it for you then? NURBS create a smoother surface than an amount of slices can.
What are you up to this time Wolfy boy?

Oh, my God, that's on heck of a cylinder, but not at all what I need. O_O
Forty basic slices [with a vertex in the center of both ends] and twenty stacks would be perfect. Think in terms of pizza pies, I guess, when looking down one; forty slices to a pizza, twenty pizzas stacked on top of each other.
I just need a cylinder, Hallock. I have a very specific idea of what I want the model to look like.
It's just new sigs, Erny. Just new sigs. ;)

I have no idea if this will import into milky. Hopefully it works.. :o
:edit: I downloaded Milky to see if it imports and it does.. :)
