REQ: 3.x crosshairs!!!!

I wont start this atrocity called 1.0 again until I get the 3.x crosshairs back. Someone working on it? (I would if knew how)

go to multiplayer, customize then tick out the "use dynamic crosshair" box.

If you turn that off, do the hairs work like 3.1 instead? With the waving bit in the middle? I -really- liked that. If so, I'll be putting my old hairs back right quickly.

ok so how do i use my 3.1 crosshari with 1.0? just untick the dynamic xhair box so it is blank and then use my normal .spr?

Nope, the best I've manged is a simple dot crossahir instead of the default cross, the dodcross.spr file is now very odd and I haven't as yet studied it enouh to make it totally customisable.

But basically if you look at that picture above, the vertical line with the dot below, removed the horizontal line and the verttical one and just leave that dot, you can then make it a bit bigger.

Problem is it appears they are reflected to make the crossahair and I don't know quite how to work with that

They changed the way that the sprite is referenced, which leads me to believe there should be a CVAR to inable the cross_style_1 crosshairs. If i had the retail version i could track it down with the auto-complete cvar in the console, but it's going to be hard untill they patch HL to have the Steam GUI. Someone have any ideas?

I think I got it, gonna work some on it tomorrow and see if it works. Will post asap if I find out anything.
