Since I believe the timings are all the same, does anyone think they'd be able to do this? I personally don't like the way your hands hold the gun on the Enfield compared to the K98, so if someone could do replace the Enfield and the scoped animations with the k98 ones, I'd appreciate it.

It would be nice to do, but the Enfield has the long reload animation where the strip of bullets is inserted twice. The Kar animations would have to be edited, but I'm not that good at animating in Milkshape, and editing the SMD by hand is painstaking work.

But the long reload animation isn't used in game (if it is I haven't noticed), so would it make a difference?

Most interesting... I tried to get it ingame, and you're right, it isn't used. I don't have the default Enfield though, and I don't have my Kar on the 1.0 animations (I love the 3.1 anims), so I can't put it together. See if anyone else will help you, and I'll see if I can get my friend to put it together.

I did it, need a host, but will probably send to DoD EC. It's Dillinger's reskin of the Enfield. I also fixed most of the clipping and just things that looked wierd with the K98 anims on the Enfield. If you want an ingame pic just say so.

If you sent it to me you'll have to wait till DoD Studios is back online...

If there is a prob with the long anim, then use the short one but use a slower FPS. (I might be wrong as I haven't had a good look at the DoD v_weapons)
