Which army wear these type of fuzzy hats?

Only people ive seen them on are russians but other countries could have worn them also.

Yeah i think the russians wore them, but really any army fighting in the cold would wear one of them lol

I've got a couple old issues of WWII Magazine with the germans wearing Russian Hats from the east front. They were prized possessions by the germans since they were warmer then pretty much anything they had been issued by hitler lol.

In the book SS General by Sven Hassel there is this one bit where they are talking about the best things to loot of the dead. One of the germans says the best thing to take off Russians were hats, great coats and oppium cigerettes. So these probally wouldn't looked out of place on the germans as long as they were modelled after Eastern Front troops.

I also read somewhere that the germans perferred hats the helmets cos they dint restrict your vision and they didn't impare your hearing as much as a helmet did.

germans wernt issued those, but they definately stole them from the bodies of dead ruskies. and anything else for that matter; like coats, cigs, and weapons sometimes. the PPSH-41 was the one i think that was favored, mostly because of its high fps, and huge magazine.
