I have a model. It's skinned already, all it needs it to be twice as large as it is now (all the dimensions). You can get it here.

Could anyone be so kind as to do this for me?

open it in HLMV and scale it by 2.0 on both and then click texture and savemodel :)

When you compile it to a MDL file just make sure you have $scale 2.0 near the top of your QC file and it will scale it for you when it compiles it.

And no, its not a "No", we're just trying to help you to help yourself. Its much more satisfying to know you've helped someone and often more satisfying for them to learn how to solve little problems themselves.

the half-life model viewer, which allows you to view mdl files, has a scale feature, and doesn't even require any decompiling or model editing. That's what you should use and how you should do what you want to do.

oh ok, i was just using that but I didn't know you could edit with it (i.e. its called viewer  )

why did you repost what he said?

Anyway It's working now just fine, even clipped it with a func wall which is a pain, only problem now is that it has little yellow balls going around it, even after i check the box marked "NO YELLOW BLOBS". what gives?

You'll have better luck finding an answer to that question in the mapping forum.
