Im just wondering, wouldnt it be great if the official dod mappers would do something like have a review thread or forum to review and give the thumbs up (or down) for some of the custom maps out there. Also, if some of these "dod approved" maps would be part of official map packs it would make dod that much better.

It might be a good idea...
But maps already sort of get reviewed in here anway. And keeping all mapping stuff in here gives you a better idea of whats going on in the mapping world.
