env_state can't seem to work.

A ai controlled func_tank should be disabled the moment i turn On the env_state. I did this with a multi_manager that triggers an animation to play for an env_model by turning it on as well as turn On the env_state. The func_tank uses a Master called ~mstrname while the env_state's name is mstrname. When i blow the thing up, the animation plays so obviosuly the multimanager runs, unfrotunately the MG doesn't get disabled but remains alive. Why??

Just trigger the func_tank with its name.

For example, if your func_tank is called mg1,

a multi-manager containing:
mg1 1
mg1 3

will disable the mg 1 second after the MM is triggered,
then will activate the mg 3 seconds after ;)
