i cant get the map to give the person who returns the documents to the capture area. I set points in the dod_object, the dod_capture_point at the object, and the dod_capture_zone. nothing comes up. even the mardy mouse tuturial doesnt give points to the capturer.

any help?

yea its simple, in the dod_object properties scroll down till u find the "points to capturer"
check the pic.

yeah, ive done that. the mardy mouse tuturial has that done too. except it still wont give the player those 10 points.

havent a clue why.

ive now just copied the mardy mouse system across to my map, so if you download that tuturial and look at it, give me a hint to how to fix it?

that tuturial works for you?!?

i re-downloaded it. havent cahnged any entity properties, only textures. i cap the docs and the map doesnt give me any points, it gives the team 11.

ok, in the tut, try changing the points to capturer to 1. and compile, it should work.

Because I used the dod_caputure_area instead of the dod_object_goal, I think you'll find it's the dod_control_point giving the points to the capture.

Anyway ... I 've updated the tutorial and changed the capture area to the dod_object_goal entity ... take another look at it.

I just think the dod_object_goal gives a simpler and better entity path then using the dod_capture_area.
