This is a re-skin of the Gravity knife. Includes new Wood. Touch-ups/edits to the Metal. And no Blood.

Picture here (http://www.dodstudios.net/uploads/uploads/comparisonofnewtoold.jpg)

Credits/instructions in the readme.

P model included.

The wood isnt really that red-ish, picture just makes it. If you think it's too exotic/ugly let me know and I'll adjust it and re-release.

Danke to Editor 321 for hosting.

IF YOU DONT SEE ANY SERVERS, PRESS REFRESH

I JUST NOTICED THAT THE GAME USES v_paraknife NOT v_gravity SO RENAME YOUR V_MODEL ACCORDINGLY, THANKS.

there weren't any public servers to downloaf off of for me, anyone else have this problem?

It says the public slot or something, like the first come, first server, if u mean that, yeah i see it Sgt. Sinister. Sometimes the fileplanet has a weird tendency to mix up options on screen:confused: , try pressing the refresh button few times.

Oh yeah, and when i saw this knife's name, I got curious. Why is it called the gravity knife? Because the paratroopers had them?

*Edit Gonna download it and try it man, I rarely see this weapon get skinned, nice job.

No, I looked at it. New wood and metal texture.

And it's a skin, not a model, so he is technically re-coloring everything.

i know for a fact the metal wasnt reskinned, just made darker.

They were used for paratroopers who got stuck in trees and the such, so they could cut the risers and when gravity takes effect, fall.

Sorry about the re-skin confusion. The wood is brand new but the metal isnt, I burn/dodged and added a light hint of color to it. It says that the metal is default with my edits in the Readme file.

My bad for not listing that.

EDIT
aha I knew I posted it.

Touch-ups/edits to the Metal.

Touch-ups and edits, not new metal like I said "new wood"
It was there, just gotta read carefully.

Maybe, but they were used for cutting the risers on a parachute.

NJ, finally a suitable replacement for the FJ knife

yes the blade is free floating and when turned blade down the blade came out and when righted it remained locked until pulled up and the locking system dropped back. hence gravity. all that was required was one hand to work it. a brilliant design and still made in that fashion today.

Actually in german it's called a Fallmesser (a "drop-knife"). I think they still use it today.
