I wasn't going to do it at first, but I did it anyway.
So, if you have downloaded the map already, you can just get this and extract to the overviews directory:

and in case you want to see it before you download it:

yeah, yeah, it's a bmp in the preview too, so it might take a while to 'appear'.
I'm a total newbie with adobe photoshop (which I used to create the picture) so I didn't know how to give it an 'old paper' look. I still think it looks quite all right.
