--The Map Model Do-over Pack--

Like I've been saying, it is summer, and I am BORED. I decided to reskin a few mapmodels, because they can be rather bland, and we all have High-res Player and Weapon models, so why not have some decent high-res map models? A good majority of the models were only 64x64, and at best 128x128; they happen to just be bland. The models included are:

All done over, in skins that are higher-res then the ones before. These ones were the only ones that were actually worth doing, because the rest were either far to hard to do a reskin, or simply not noticeable ingame. All textures were gotten off google except the ones on the hangingpara, which are Russ_conscripts's 82nd Airborne uniform and face. Please make sure you backup your old files before you install. Some of these also may be an "aquired taste"; meaning: you probably won't like all of them, so pick and choose what ones you want, and install all files into: dod/models/mapmodels.

Any sandbags? I hate those custom ones, you can't tell where the bullets will go through and it blocks your view.

Yeah, I was either going to look at "adult" websites, or do some skinning. I think I chose the more stupid way, but atleast you all can benefit.

Edit: To those that have downloaded the pack, I made an error with the ME-262. Fuzzdad released a new version of his map, and the new version has a destroyed submodel. The zip below has the updated 262.

Hello, Dramaqueen. Please calm down, I never told you to stop skinning, I said photoskins sucked, and looking at the models in game I noticed you found textures and copied and pasted parts of them and so there're visible breaks in the skins, blah blah. And Mr. Bishop, yes I have looked at them ingame, please don't assume I haven't. KTHX, camelshoes.

I think its a custom map. I play ALOT on the Kettle, so some of these may be custom map models. :(

i wish i could play on Kustom Kettle, but those *******s wont take cd off!

We ran CD optional for over a week while we got some tweaks for Cheating Death.

If you visit our forums and go to our technical section, you can read about a few different options that people have used and confirmed to work.

Cheating Death is now required again on the servers. Check the technical section out. You might find a solution.
