Yesterday when i arrived home from skool, I was all ready to release my 2 Enfields, Carbine and Garand skins...unfortunately my windows had been totally screwed, a million and 1 files were missing and windows is unaccessable, i tried re installing windows over itself and every other thingh i know but failed, that means i lost everything so looks like ill have to fix it now. Lucky i still have all the essential files such as windows, ps7, dod and hlmv on cd, so once im back up then ill release sum stuff soon:)

What happened do you have any clue? Where you running any P2P programs (Kazaa etc) while you where gone? Very strange and sad indeed.

Yeh, had kazaa, i told my bro 100 000 000 times not to install it and i suppose that may have caused it. Yes it was very weird indeed.

I got a virus while downloading music. Completly cooked my 130 gig hard drive. What's worse, it was 2 weeks after reformating it and loosing all my great 3.1 files.

Yeah it was propably a virus from a music file. Waht happened, did you have a system error and where u forced to reboot?

I have kazza lite it is ok i havent had any problems yet (touch wood) i only have it running for about 5 minutes while i dl a music file and after that i turn it off.

You can't get a virus from an mp3 file. You could download one that was infected but those chances are rare and it wouldn't spread anyways. If it was a virus from Kazaa you might have searched for that demo music under All and you might have downloaded a .vbs (Visual Basic Script) file with the same name on accident. You run one of those with a virus inside and it'll infect your attack that computer of yours.

Anyways, that bites that your computer got fried. I'm really liking your skins so far.

Well the problem is now fixed and great news for all i didnt loose any of my stuff so expect some new releases soon, oh yeh btw bye bye kazaa:D

well Bittles, I don't know how either but it was from a mp3 file. I'm sure it was because I always search "audio" and not "all". I know exactly which song it is because as soon as it finished downloading, my pc got all fux0r3d.

aah well.

You should have backed up the stuff in DOS :(
