Model questions

Firstly, model transparency. I have the fuel_dump.mdl in my map, but the camo net always comes up with the red spots where it should be see through. ive tried various settings similar to func_wall settings but end up with the red spots or have the model disapear altogether. Please help me out and tell me the exact settings i need to do and where!

secondly, occasionally in my map, models with suddenly disapear from certain viewpoints, and then appear again when you change viewpoint. common problem?

I have that problem to, I think it has to do with the model center ( the x in the model) not being visible in view, like its hidden behind or wall or something?

the models automatically mask, but if they don't try RENDER MODE: SOLID, FX AMOUNT: 255.

Models disappear and reappear because of the way VIS and rendering are, If you models top should be seen but the the actual location of the env_model can't be seen by VIS it most likely won't get rendered.
