changing grenade explosions

can any1 tell me how i can import the 3.1 gren explosions into v1.0?

The grenade explosion is particle based which means you have to turn off particles. Type cl_particle_fx 0

its not that hard i believe. the 3.1 explosion is still in the sprites folder. i imagine all it would take is to rename a few simple files
