Question is - do you want me to compile them for the Sten Mk5 hackjob or leave them to use the default Mk2? (this wont give you a new v_model, just p_models).

I have to admit when you first previewed these in the old boards I wasn't that impressed. But since you continued to perfect these I am now, most definitly IMPRESSED! Great Job Jed I will use these!

I would say MK5 as the P_ model coming with it is off great quality.

Its just the standard DoD MkII sten with a stock and grips added.

The only point being - if I build it to use the MK5 p_model, if you choose not to install it and stick with the Mk2 the front hand wont grip the barrel sleeve, it will still try and hold the foregrip . Also the Mk2 will point up slightly rather than straight.

Dont ask why, its complicated.

It isn't that complicated :p it only means that i'll have to stick to your P_ model, and as i rarely update my P_ or W_ models, it shouldn't be that big of a problem for me :D

WOW. Since I'm a realism freak I would vote for the gun that the Brit paratroops actually used in real life. Very very nice. I'll use when they're released. Wish there were brit paras in the game:)

Well you would wouldnt you "Mr. Cuffs"

I'm really p***ed off at the moment as Milkshape has caused a lot of pixel creep and I cant dial it out. :( And I'm still really not happy about the textures on the webbing.

Ah well, I'm getting so sick of these models - whats it been? Like 4 months? Bleh... :o

Oh Marzy - I used your "trick" and managed to make them blink and close their eyes when they die. Only problem was the smoothing was rubbish so I binned it. I'll leave that gem until HL2 I think.

More pics, BIG ones! (>200k@).
Wallpapers anyone?

These are the final faces for the British version - the Canadian version wont have the black Bren gunner.

*NOTE* - Anyone spotted that each class has a distinctive camoflauge pattern on his dennison smock? No two have the same...

I don't even know what a dennison smock is. :D

They look great though. Amazing even. Supernatural perhaps.

However, I'm still going to stick with Canuck's 1st Canadian Paratrooper models.

Can you include the smd file for the MKII animations in case we want to recompile with that?
