Mappers! Please raise the sky!
It is so sad to throw a gernade, watch it launch in a beautiful ballistic arc, and then suddenly thunk! It hits the sky and drops down to the ground far short of the targetted location.
Please raise the sky so that Real World physics and ballistics work.
This is especially apperant when on the roof of a building and you throw the gernade up and out and it goes up, clunk then straight down; usually not where you would prefer it to be.
So Please RAISE THE SKY!!!! :D

VIs blocking requirements requires the sky ceiling to be low.

sure pple hav thot of this b4. I know a manual sky thin brush to block can also work, but it isn't that effective and it's normally a clean habit (like in most beach maps, to have the sky ceiling low) to cover the bunker tops.

The best solution is for the dod coders to allow the grenades/objects to travel outside the world with no inhibitions. ActUALLY, i think the grenades/objects do travel quite well outside the world on their own, 'cept there is water outside the world'S EDGE, causing that object to lose velocity!!! ...Firstly, it's possible for a gigantic model to leak outside the world. It's also possible for a func_door to travel outside the world. But i think the main problem here is water!!! The dreaded HL water in the sky!! The sky is made of water!

But these granades can't go above houses, little devils called r_speeds are blocking such movement. If there could be some magic passable-sky texture....
