has anyone tried the bf1942 mappiung?
i tried wc and put out a few lame maps. i just wanna know if bf editor is better.

You really cant compare them. Hammer/Worldcraft uses brushes to make buildings. BF editor is full of prefabs and automated terrain generator.

Define skill.

Yeah, Half-lifes editor now-a-days is apparently one of the more difficult to master compared to other games. Plus who cares? It's 2 different games. If you want to map for DoD, then learn Hammer, if you want to map for bf, then use that other crap....

i play both games and enjoy making maps for both. I just wanna know if my maps will be better on bf1942... so is it easier?

well if you're a good mapper your maps will be good no matter what game you work on. BF1942 is wide open combat, dod is close quarter fights. So you can't say "this is better" or "that is better" because thats like comparing super mario brs. with monkey island II
