Alright..

Model: Nomad
Skin: Slinky
Converted From 3.1 to 1.0: Ash

and I just kinda recolored it.. here is a render: (I'll get ingame shots soon)

Edit: I also plan on doing a new muzzleflash maybe and new sounds. Plus i'd like to do a strap but my animation skills aren't at the top of their game

yes, an ingame pic will be better, because no matter how beautiful a gun looks in rendering, it will never look that way in game. Its like girls look better when youre drunk, but never will look that way in the morning

Hum, kinda too silver for my taste but its a good job nonetheless, it just doesn't fit my personal style, since it looks like it was made from pure silver.

Yep, a little bit too shiny for my taste too, other than that, it's a good looking model.

Yeah, my personal taste is a dark metal Thompson thats been thrown in the rain, mud, snow and generally went through hell and back that is often seen with weapons in war time.

In other words I want the war-torn look, not the 'just came off the assembly line' look.

But you did a good job and I'm sure some people will love it.

Thats usually how I like it, but......I just love this one for some reason.

I gotta tweak a few more things with the skin, and do new sounds... and then I'll let ya'll have it either later tonight or tomorrow.. depends i got tonight off so i probably wont be home

Diamond, first off, as previously mentioned, renders never show a modles true look. IT either looks worse or better, never the same.

Second off, I think thats WAY to shiny to be a thompson gun model. But thats my opinion, it differs from person to person.

Thats not to say I dont like your skin. That my friend, is possibly the BEST looking silver I have EVER EVER seen on ANY half life model. Everything else is either flat, not shiny, or just white-gray, that looks like one *****ing, punk-ass, pimptastic Chromed Tommy gun.

If youre going to release, fix the textures because they are misaligned. You can see it if you look at the rear sight and the trigger guard in the 2nd and 3rd ingame shot. Also, release one with slinky's original skin, it looks better.

ya i already fixed the mesh up a bit (so even if you dont like the skin I can put slinky's original skin on it so you have it with a little better mesh)

but I just need to know what the defualt origins are so i can compile it correctly.. If anyone could just let me know.. I'd appreciate it, rather then trying to figure it out myself... Its been a while since I've done weapon compiling

EDIT: nevermind bout origin, I got it thanks to a Whiskas' post in another thread.

if you want a dark skin then just use the original one by nomad & slinky converted by ash

also... I made a version with a strap but i cant animate it.. whenever i try to it gets all messed up.. :(
