[MREL] Purple Grenade Reskin

Since there have been a lack of new grenades, i thought I would take a crack and reskinning the default nade, I saw some pics of ww2 nades and some were purple so I thought id give it a shot. Well heres a pic and d/l. includes matching p and w models.

interesting, how about making bright red allied grenades and bright blue german grenades? *joke*

funny enough, Italian grenades were red, and I think Russians had red colored grenades too.

purple ay? i had no idea the americans carried purple grenades. but i guess crazier things have happened O_o

That appears to be discolouration caused by age, and probably distorted by the picture too. Still, decent recolour

By the looks of it, that gren used to be either black, or dark Olive drab. The reason why it looks purple is because it is so old and was probably handled alot so the paint came off and that color you see is the natural aged metal. It's more of a brownish color with a gold fleck in it. Unique idea tho. Gj.

like a few people said, it looks worn with age and such, so maybe do that too? nice skin though ill use it, looks kinda like a grape:rolleyes:

Yeah, purple nades were really used in WWII. My friend's grandpa fought in the 101st and he has tons of stuff from the war that he gave to my friend.

He has a couple red colored American grenades, a bayonet from a Kar, a potato masher, and even a German helmet. :D
