I'll tell you why you hate it.

Reasons:
1. It is inaccurate as hell.
2. It overheats in thirty shots.
3. It has a RPM which is a sixth of the real MG42s RPM.
4. Not powerful enough.

But thats no reason to hate it so much that you just go and replace it with an mg34. If you don't like the MG42, use the MG34 until they fix the 42. Not difficult.

No, I just hate the gun. I like the MG-34 better, to me its like an old friend or something.

That and #3.

The MG-34 stands way above the 42' no doubt.

The default 42 sound isn't exactly playing together with the game RPM either, it sounds helluva fast, but it's really not.

wow... I really like your beltfed mg34
How fare you are ?

Can we hope for a release in the next days ??

I didnt really like the MG42 too, it has nothing from a real 42....
The Real MG42 overheats after 150 rounds......
Thats so damn unrealistic in Dod :(

It would be really cool, to have the option of changing the Barrel of the MG42 when it overheats, a good gunner can do that under 10 secs.

in Firearms they got something like that, there you can change the normal barrel of the MP5 against a silenced barrel, Its not just attaching a silencer... In the animation, the change the whole barrel and the stuff around it. I was really suprised when i have seen that the first time.

That would be a damn cool feaure for the MG42

...i never liked the MG42 myself either... I always hated the model for some reason and the sound seems like 9 shots blurred together
