4 months of war have passed since the allies first captured "kalt"
the fighting been tough, and the axis have managed again to get a foothold on the
allie forces and push them back.
the snow has melt, the river is flowing, and all seems well.
but do the allies have it in them to mount a final attack to
retake and secure dod_kalter.

hhehehhehe fantastic, love what you have done to kalt. The access to the sewer is so much better now with the middle access point! and the 2 houses being opened up is crazy, you changed a 8/10 map to a 10/10 , again well done SLi.

just played it once and the axis owned us so i didnt see much else than the 1st and 2nd US flag :D but yet i can say: great job!

i just found a brush with a grass texture which is upon the ground (outside of the US spawn, right side)

that tower which one can see in the first pic disappears when watching from the end of the bridge. also there is some grass under a tree @ 2nd axis flag which changes its texture to black when changing the POV.

piu piu u are looking too hard, to say both are minimal is an understandment. the grass took me 5 mins to get the POV correct to notice and even then i couldnt decide if it was the shadow. and the tower happens for a fraction of a second as you move from round the corner and in game goes totally unnoticed. IMO it is not worth placing an areaportal window in as i doubt there would be a sniper up there. i would rather ave 5 fps more.

and also i don't say your map is bad... in fact i said that you did a great job just a few comments ago.

of course constructive criticism is always welcome, but the points you have picked up on, unless your purposefully going around looking for errors will go unnoticed in real gameplay.
i had a guy say yesterday tht the map isnt balanced or symmetrical because the allies have a crate in the middle of the rd. do i remove the crate?

what im trying to say is in every map there are 100s of small errors weather it be texture placement, wrong shading-lighting, slight in balances etc etc but as a mapper you have to be realistic in what is an error and what is acceptable and balancing the 2 to get good gameplay, because at the end of the day thts my priority.
