Another NOOB ? about Mapping

I am beginning to understand how the entire map is really just one very large room but have not got around yet where to begin building in that room. Just for an example I have thought about the interior of a very large warehouse. Would I build the entire hollow warehouse and then fill it with various levels, hall ways, rooms and stairways or would I start with a single small room and expand with others until I have what I want?
Thanks

it seems to me both are the same???
get some paper out, design your warehouse with these "rooms" making sure every "room" has a different field of vision, meaning you cant see straight thro all of them.

thts my advice for wat it is worth.

good luck!!!

You can do either. I prefer to start with the whole building first, and add the floors as I go. That way, I can change the scale of the building if I need to.

Try it both ways, and see which you prefer.

Thanks guys for the tips I think I will try the whole building first and see what happens, I like the idea of being able to re-size if needed.
