hi guys having trouble making text appeaR on the screen ingame.
ive used game_text and set the trigger right but not getting anything.
someone said tht game_text doesnt work for CSS , is it the same for DoDs and if so is there a way round it???
its pretty importaNt for the map im creating.

You need to trigger an env_hudhint entity. If you want the message to be team specific use the env_hudhint in conjunction with a filter_activator_team entity.

whilst im here anyone know how to create a trigger_hurt only to one side.

filter_activator_team with a trigger_hurt.
Look at dod_sora, I used this method for spawn protection before the func_team_wall came along.
