Server Crash with custom map.

Ok so im mapping for DOD 1.3 not source. I made a custom map and it compiles fine with no errors. But everytime i change my server to my map it crashes, once again giving no errors. The wad file and bsp file are both in the right places and i dont have any custom sounds or anything. Any help would be great.

Have you watched the server console when you change the map to see what it says ?
Is the server windows machine or linux ?
