There was a big delay since my last release, mainly just taking a break from skinning and such, but here's something I had finished right before I took a little break, it's a hi-res reskin of Firegold's BAR with brand new, hi-res wood for the grip and stock.

Unfortunately, this release doesn't have a P or W model yet, I haven't had a chance to download Jajahu's P model pack yet. But I have a feeling you can export/import the textures off of this V model onto those P and W models without a problem. Anyway, I hope you like this!

FEATURES:
- New photorealistic wood texture taken from a 1600x1200 digital photo
- Added scrapes and scratches to the metal

CREDITS:
- Original Model and Skin: Firegold & Slinky
- New Wood Skin & Scratches/Scrapes On Metal: Dillinger

Ahh okay, thanks for the tip. I wasn't sure who's credit it was since it was included in his pack. The readme, post, and picture are all updated with the proper thanks.

If someone put a carrying handle on it I would poop my pants, and use it for eternity!

I tested the zip and something was funky with it when I tried to open the model in HLMV, not sure if anyone had a problem with it, but I re-uploaded it and it fixed it.

Would it be an idea to vary the wood skins on the weapons? They all look the same... I doubt the weapons are all made of the same type of wood.

Not sure what you mean, but only two of my reskins use the same wood texture. Each wood texture is taken from a different picture I take of different wood, and the only two using the same one were my Garand reskin for 3.1 and my carbine reskin for 3.1

No other skin uses the same wood. Compare them all and you'll see.

eh, I think the Garand is his best work. This is an awesome BAR Dillinger, but like someone else said the front sight is a little awkward.

If you guys have a different BAR model to suggest, I can slap this skin on it most likely, just point me in the right direction. I'm no modeler, so I can't fix the sights, although I don't see anything wrong with them :D
