help with flags

what tool do you use to make the flags work?

dod_control_point is the flag (entity)
dod_control_point_master is what controls the flags and game timer (entity)
dod_capture_area is what u make the brush around the controlpoint, i use the trigger texture for this brush so i can see through it. (brush) use ctrl +t to make it a dod_capture_area

well, i made a 3-d skybox for my next map, and all but one is working, one is just black with splotchy things on it

how do i fix this???

I did this with the flags but the flag is invisible...

Do you have a control point master? If you don't the flags won't show up.

have u guys opened up a map that is finished to see how it was done? have you read any tutorials on basic maps, i know ive seen a few out there called my first map or something like that, it would probably help out alot to do that, just my 2 cents

i cant come up with any ideas for maps =-\ which makes it hard to make them for me

Try watching old war films or documentaries to try and get a feel for atmosphere. Then lay out some ideas on paper until you get an idea you think will work. Then go from there.
