UPDATED 1 September 2007...

This update is to make parts of the HUD compatible with the changes in the last update.

So basically, this fixes a few things, mainly issues for the menu, now replaced... Black (http://www.dodbits.com/downloads/Ver7/ver_8_teammenu.JPG) and Standard (http://www.dodbits.com/downloads/Ver7/Teammenu_8_english_Standard_colors.JPG) colors, and adds a couple of other new items, some you won't be aware of, but the hud is now set up to take US flag and Iron Cross and Swastika icons...it was not before, those icons will be in a separate download soon. To see what Swastikas or Iron cross files will look like, click on the German and French menu pics in the "OLD UPDATE..." section below.

Also added is a crosshair section on the team menu. All details from the readme...

* Fixed the Netgraph commands, they used the incrementvar cvar to toggle choices to choosing a netgraph type and moving it around the screen. This cvar is now considered a cheat and has been removed from the menu.Menu now has a different method for setting the Netgraph, a series of buttons to select type and position up and down and left to right.

* Fixed special graphics used by the menu, when visting some sv_pure servers the menu was missing the images and white boxes showed up.

* Added support for all sv_pure servers 0, 1 and 2, you will be able to upgrade this hud with US Flag and Iron Cross and Swastika images soon (seperate download).
When this hud has special icons added it will no longer result in purple and black or white boxes, the hud will just default to standard DoD:s images from the GCF files.

* Added Crosshair "Fix" for when the user is on a sv_pure server and it knocks out the crosshair, you can now set all aspects of the crosshair in the menu. The smallest setting is smaller than the normal slider bar. crosshair 3... the circle, is very close to having a Dot crosshair using this menu.

5 Preset colors... Red, Green, Lt Blue, Yellow and White. 5 Preset sizes. The 4 standard crosshairs can be selected from the menu.
The spin-off of this is the speed you can set the crosshair while in game.

1. Click the Teamselect key. 2. click on a type. 3. click on a preset color. 4. click on a size and the menu exits... play on. Quicker than the traditional way and ... it's default smaller size is much lower than the standard one. No need to place a custom size or color in a config file.

OLD UPDATE...
I can't help it... constantly finding ways to improve this stuff.

This update adds more eye candy but the most important thing for me is Language support... I only have German (http://www.dodbits.com/downloads/Ver7/Menu_sv_pure_0_German_Iron_Cross.JPG) and French (http://www.dodbits.com/downloads/Ver7/Menu_sv_pure_0_French_Swastika.JPG) at the moment but I am hoping when other players see what can be done they may help add more.

It just adds the standard text file with added translations for the Team Menu and Winpanels. (http://dodbits.com/downloads/Ver7/English_win_det.jpg)

Other stuff is right out of the test versions I made last month...

New X-hairs (http://dodbits.com/downloads/Ver7/INsanes_Crosshairs.jpg), Larger Player status panel option (http://dodbits.com/downloads/Ver7/Larger_HUD_Option.jpg) (small one standard), 8 Kills and Deaths font/background options (http://dodbits.com/downloads/Ver7/Kills_and_deaths_options.jpg), and of course there are two types now ... one for Black Panels and one that has Standard DoD:s colors.

Downloads... Black Color (http://dodbits.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=61&func=fileinfo&id=3) Standard Color (http://dodbits.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=61&func=fileinfo&id=27)

EDIT: download changed ...already

Only german users affected, changed some words in the menu and winpanel. English still the same, French one change so far, the menu cancel button wording.

Tremendous job as always! With one of my first packs I tried to get translations also, all I ever managed to get were people to translate into German and French.

(I also thought about translating into "Aussie" but decided to stick with English :) )

How can you extend the "who killed who" area in the upper right to more than just 4 lines? I've never asked the question although it's probably been covered. Sometimes on larger 32 player servers a bunch of folks die all at once and I don't see if I actually nailed the target I was gunning for because it is pushed off screen so fast.

You can't translate "aussie" ... we don't write things down. That's why no one can break our codes :D

I didn't know if I should put that in or not :) I put it in for a quick fix for when a sv_pure server setting knocks out the custom ones... but I now find it very quick to switch colors and sizes in game.

Have not been back to the normal options screen since I put this in my menu :p
