rocket class *only* objectives?

Allright, with the advent of destructable objectives, is it possible to make an objective destructable by bazooka/panzershreck only? Like in the old DOD Jagd?
we have tanks
we have anti-tank rockets.let's put the two together! Give the rocket class an actual purpose other than "i 0wner0z j00s wit a rocket! MWHAHAHA!"

I know some people are going to scream about gameplay and what if nobody on your team picks the rocket class blah blah blah..... I cannot hear you. All I hear is a faint buzzing sound :)

I think that it would definitely be possible. You would just set the objective to be destroyed at so much damage, and somehow tie that with detonation trigger?

Not sure, I know that you can make something breakable only by blast damage,so nades would break it too. I don't think you can make it more specific than that.

of course you can you just have to add before the trigger destroy is activated a class filter set to the right name of the bazooka so that only bazooka are able to actually "hurt" the objectif: then add a math counter that counts each rocket that makes more than 100 damage to the objectif and set the math counter to trigger at the number of rocket that has done this value (this enables you to set the number of rockets needed to destroy the objectif).finally tie it to your destruction with a replacement of the original objectif prop by the destroyed one , you can give it a better look by adding explosion entity to fire and smoke to raise and here you go!!

Can you filter by bazooka class? How do you go about that? At the moment I have a func_breakable only broken by 125 damage (Anything less than 125 it ignores) therefore only bazookas can damage

Chicken-Soup, try this out once and see if it works:

1. Get someone from the other team to stand facing the wall. (Bots work best)
2. Pull out your knife and try to knife them in the back
3. As you're charging the attack quickly move up to the wall in a way so that your knife will strike the wall and not the enemy.
4. When it hits it should cause 300 damage and destroy the wall.

Bam, you just destroyed a wall with your knife.

But CCSoup can still filter the damage type by BLAST damage only (rockets and nades), hence no knife.

I'm fairly sure you can't do this. The class filter will only differentiate between teams (allied or axis) and not between weapon class.

A member of my clan is currently remaking Zalec, he has figured out a way to have rocket objectives, but they aren't really objectives.

for more info, I'm sure if you contacted the mapper he would gladly discuss what he did, I know he worked on it for days to get it to work properly.

So have you found a way to capture the destroyed objs Wile E? I had a crazy set-up that would capture the destroyed objs when people respawned with wait timers and all sorts of crazy contraptions. It didn't work well so I've just had to live with enabling a capture area on destroy so no when its bazooka'erd people have to run up to it and capture it.

As a little side note: in dod_stuttgart I had two hidden rooms equipping the players with all kinds of guns.

Using that system, it would be possible to include some ammo crates that give the player a one-shot-bazooka. :)
