Map Model U-Boot Typ VIIc

anybody need a Typ VIIC U-Boat for a map

but i dont know how to get it as a mapmodel, it hase textures, normalmaps, specularmaps and shadowmaps

so can anybody tell me how to get it as a mapmodell to implement in the map-editor?

How many polygons is that? I get the feeling its way too many for a map model.

are 14 000 to mutch for a 66m long object?

a could optimize it, it is planed for another game, where u can use those counds

i have never done anything for Source engine, so i don't know what problems i would encounter, and on what i hade too look for, is there some kinda polycound-guidline?

hmmm. the tiger tank model has about 11000 or something.

the problem with objects that most likely will be put into water is, that the model, touching non-cheap water, will be rendered twice. so thats ~30k polys on one model...

even the model is the same :P
