[wip] dod_U471

Latest project is coming to beta soon, dod_U471. Setting has the Allies infiltrating an Axis U-Boat facility carved into a mountain and ultimately destroying the U-boat.

- detonation map (2 destroyable objectives for Allies (possibly 3)
- timed
- advancing/retreating spawn system
- multiple paths (will require testing to find bottlenecks)
- U-Boat sinks when destroyed
- custom textures
- 95% complete
- will be ready for test within a week

Nice looking pictures, I dont know if it's just me but it looks abit modern, I cant put my finger on what it is but it looks abit too present day rather than 1940's. Might help if you remove the yellow and black striped clearance lines (I dont think they would be in a German Submarine pen, I could be wrong though as there arn't too many interior pictures of U-boat pens).

Otherwise looking forward to having a wander round :)

.... and the red lights? Made me think of Unreal Tournament (a bit).

Think you may be right with it being the forklift, though those clearance lines still dont look right to me.

Perhaps also replace that AA with a u-boat deck gun if you can get one modelled.

@Waffen Sturm - the uboat is not based on a real uboat, has similaritites

@gimpy117 - the uboat is not enterable

Red Lights and Forklifts were used during WW2 !

Small update. Almost done the outside area now. This is the allied first spawn point, coming up the road to the Axis mountain complex.

dod_push is not dead at all. I'm still working on it, I got sidetracked with this map dod_u471, that's all.

map looks very nice. from that screenshot i think the lighting looks like dusk. wicked evening/night snow look.

I've just wrapped up b1 of this map and its ready for a quick playtest with a group of ppl to make sure it's ok for a widespread release.

Very nice map, thanks to 415 for hosting a play test tonight. The inside of the building was quite confusing, but maybe just because it was my first time playing. I never found out how to get outside after you spawn inside.

Hey guys,

After a very informative playtest with the guys from 415 clan. B2 is almost ready to go. All the issues found in B1 have been fixed. Should be a release within a day or two.
