Title: Blood Beach Package - Version 3
Authors: Wolfe7, Captain Higgins, donot
Email: rvb.crunchbite@gmail.com

Version History and changes:
v1 - compiled files and gave germans full light green
v2 - created readme and removed light green pants (now original gray)
v3 - matched light green shirt with helmet to make helmet light green
v4 - changed light greens to correct feldgrau's and gave a link to the new website.

This mod adds not only my own new correct german summer uniforms, but also includes the "Enhanced Realism 3rd

Infantry Division, 15th Reg., K Co. Infantry Skins" and the "Realistic German Wehrmacht" as well. These mods all

come together very well, and work fluently. I myself only cover the Summer German uniforms, the images, files,

readmes, and this website, NOT the other two mods. Those questions should be directed to the original mod's

creators.

What is included:
-Readme
-German Summer Uniform Mod
-Enhanced Realism 3rd Infantry Division Mod
-Realistic German Wehrmacht Mod

These mods change the standard Valve skins to much more historically accurate versions. I included the readme's of

the other two mods in this readme as well to help to try to give proper credit. If any of the modders think

agreements are broken, please contact me immediately at rvb.crunchbite@gmail.com. I will take this package down,

and instead put just my mod up. I did not intend to do any harm, just put everything in one simple package.

Finally, a good package that doesn't involve the SS.

Enhanced Realism 3rd Infantry Division, 15th Reg., K Co. Infantry Skins
===================================

Since the Day of Defeat team graciously deciding to use our very own division for the default Infantry Unit (3rd

Infantry Division), I decided the skins needed a realism overhaul to live up to our 3rd ID standards of realism.

These skins have been looked over with a fine toothed comb through the eye of a WWII reenactor. They are the most

historically accurate and realistic US Infantry skins ever made for DoD:S.

Some enhancements include....

Uniform:
- Realistic uniform color adjustment (Jacket, pants, helmet).
- Realistic M41 jacket modifications (Added buttons in all correct places, added proper slit pockets, proper back

tightening tabs with buttons)
- Realistic sandpaper helmet texture, helmet net, and the 3rd ID has been fixed (Not backwards).
- Realistic leggings/boot modifications. (Proper boot soles, legging straps, and added captoed service shoes with

laces skin)
- DualPFC Chevrons.
- Added dirt/battleworn grime to uniform, gear and skin.
- Small bloody headwound upon helmet being blown off.

Gear:
- Added proper "U.S." markings to all field gear pieces.
- Proper bandoleer color and markings.
- Proper OD Green paint scheme for t-handle shovel.
- Added detail to the Colt .45 handle in holster.
- Custom 15th Regiment, K Company ID stencil on pack.
- BAR magazines are now seen in the pouches.
- Flap added to the M1928 Haversack.

And more, including realistic Normal Maps!

Extract the files into the following:

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\(your email here)\day of defeat source\dod\materials

Hope you enjoy the skins! Rock of the Marne!

- Regards,
Captain Higgins

Realistic German Whermacht

So, you took Higgins & donot's work, repackaged it and re-released it and took partial credit?

I'm still not seeing what you actually did....

Donot's german work was only for buttons, helmet, i dont know the word, patches?

What I did was changed the Germans grays and blacks to their historical greens. I also added Higgin's 3rd because it was my favorite mod for americans, and by adding it i could improve both the americans and germans with this mod.

So, basically, i started with donots patches and converted the germans to their green. I personally did not edit the americans.

Hope this helps,

-wolfe7 Ahh.. I see. This is just my personal opinion, but you should've just linked to Higgins' original 3rd ID release topic rather than re-releasing them in another package.

I will release it solo soon, I'm just package releasing it first. It goes better complete, anyways.
