try using the scale controls to make him a bit bigger.

Looks good so far, very imaginative.

Interesting it might look more statue like if you as others have mentioned make it larger and possiblbly give the man a more dynamic pose
eg, a bayonette charge or if it was to be like a war memorial pose the the charecter into a seated position and place him on a modeled rock so it was similar to Rodin's "the Thinker" not a war memorial i know but it is similar to the one in Kirkcudbright

I gotta say, I dont like this idea, you do good work but it just doesnt fit, maybe bronze it a bit. It will assign a metal hit to the statue because the horse is bronze. so scale, and bronze. Me thinks

Yeah...the bronzing (sp?) would add a nice touch as well as a ricochet "ting". Make it look metal instead of concrete.

I think the pose is fine. Although, if this is going to replace the horse in Caen, from what it looks like from your pic, it should be rotated 180 degrees so its facing down the street, not at a building.

Yeah..thats definitley on the right track. I'd scuff it up some. Make it look war torn and not so "pretty" and smooth..:)

The only reason I suggested a different pose is that it might fit better on the caen block which is not a model and shaped for a long and narrow models. The statue is coming on very well though.
