I dont have the know-how or the tools to do it myself, but I took a pic in HLMV of how I would like to have it. Im not too sure which Garand it is, but if someone could origin it like this, it would be greatly appriciated.

what software is required to reorigin v_models?

do you actually need a 3-d art program?

No, you just need the know-how and the compiler/decompiler, although I could be wrong.

Milkshape could come in handy.

(Off topic: At first I thought it said OREO instead of OREQ lol :p )

Yeah mine too :( Both the Garand's and MP44's idle animations. If someone can do the idle animations like they were in 3.1 then that wuold be great :)

I have that Garand model from 3.1 shouldered. At least i think it's the same, it looks virtually identical. But the reload animation is screwed up. Since reloading the garand in 3.1 took a longer, it cuts off in the middle of the animation. Probably not that hard to fix for someone that knows they're doing.

If anyone could fix it up it i'm sure a lot of people would be pleased.

Here's the link to the one from 3.1

Right after hours of mucking around in milkshape and figuring all this texturing and oringing stuff out i've basically converted that 3.1 garand i had over to 1.0. The origins aren't identical but i like them.

The model is Nomads. The textures are some other people, i have no idea who so if you see your work tell me and i'll credit it.

Yeah, that's about it....

Woah, there's something really wrong on the wood past the metal parts. It's all messed up.

Yeah, something flickers for some bloody reason. Texture probably isn't aligned properly, that's an uneducated guess though.

I'm gonna put up with it in the meantime.
