Map model question

I'm currently porting a map from CS, to DoD 1.3, and would like to use the flag models from dod_trenchfield2 in it, they are very nice.

I have tried to locate the map maker to ask him, but can't find him. I don't even know if they are his, but rather some downloadable custom models.

My question is, is it ethical to use them in another map that will be downloadable for the public if I can't locate him? Don't want to step on toes.

Should I use them and just point the credit to the map maker since I can't find him? There is no e-mail address in the map.text, and the posted web sight is down, just his name is all I know, info follows, any help in locating him would be appreciated, thanks.
