I cannot tell, but are the current Day of Defeat: Source Player models bumpmapped? If not, will they be?

Yeh, I have a DX9 card.. and i see the bumpmaps on the HL2 characters, but not in DOD:S.(on axis nor allied models) It may just be that i cannot tell, but it doesnt look as promenent as in HL2.

There's only a bump map for the helmet. No actual bump mapping for the rest of the model as far as i can tell from this normal map i extracted.

I think he does mean bump mapping, which is not phong shading :).

Now that i think about it, i too don't notice much bump mapping in dod source compared to HL2. Custom dod:s skins usually have bump/normal maps though, try some of them out.
