Ive already made a thread before, now i need some help with compiling...

Im trying to convert the Thompson, it got all the anims for 1.3. But im stuck halfway thru....

Anyone got a tutorial, sources or anything that can help me?

The models are my own personal use, its not going to be released.

well the animations b/t 1.3 and source wont match so the approach is wrong

I'd say read bulletheads tutorial on CDG

Converting the pistols, SMGs, melee weapons and some others would work... But for the rifles and the rest, ill have to re-anim them

Ill take the SMGs for exemple, their reload time is identical to 1.3 and theres no missing anims. Unlike the rifles... lack of melee attack and the reloads is faster...

Um.... what about the axis_sleeve.smd and others? I have to take them from the ref smd or leave it as is?

EDIT: Is that normal? Looks like bad news...

EDIT 2: Err.... A 1.6 to Source tut... but it doesnt show the reverse...

the hands get a bit wonky on decompile, nothing can be done about that, you have to recompile them with hands from a fixed model, any of my have fixed hands for the record.

BTW the smgs do have a melee attack, so your out of luck

And the reverse, is quite simply, you use your brain to do it in reverse :)
