This has always bothered me. I actually haven't tested this with a lower res, but at 1280x1024, you can see a 'seam' between the hand and the weapon model : http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/1254/kar9eg.jpg

When running over bright terrain, it sticks out like a sore thumb and is pretty distracting. I take it there is no easy way to fix this? :(

Hehehe.

I know it's a minor thing, but it's very distracting! :(

Is it an actually glitch in the gun or a space between the hand and the gun?

(i never noticed this before)

It's just space, but it's so small that I suspect it was just overlooked. The garand doesn't have this problem.

It isnt really a glitch its just a problem with the polygons of the hand not meeting up exactly right with the model of the gun, Im sure if someone were to create a custom model or just tweak the skeleton for the hands it can be fixed. But footsteps has a point, in an industry quality game, such a small detail because of its simplicity should be perfect. This is not at all the first time I've seen polygons not match up in games. Most of the time its small or you have to know its there to see it, but when games get to this level of production it shouldnt be an issue

well, you see that's also part of the problem with deviating TOO far from the color scheme of the original skins. You have an ultra-dark scheme going on there that would never be noticable on the default skins or even on my hands skins. I have never once ever seen this line, I'm betting because I think gloved hand skins are crap and never use them LOL

(It's a pet peeve - in real life wool gloves allow the weapon - and just about everything else - to slide right out of your hands. Plus they get soaking wet instantly. Military gloves are LEATHER for that very reason. Only the glove inserts were wool and it's a bad idea to use them alone.)

I have a better glitch in the 98k.

much like dod and the HL1 glitch...you can fast switch to your shovel and skip the reload annimation still.

I would have thought they would have fixed that by now...it`s only been going on since dod beta.

stupid reload glitch !

Sure you skip the animation, but you still have to wait the appropriate time as if the animation was playing.
