Is there a way to remove all the rifle grenades from the riflemen on both sides and add them 2 hand grenades instead using triggers as in the old DoD on Goldsource?

You can do it with scripts in mattie but you would be relying on the server admin having mattie and installing the script as well as the map.

I wrote a one weapon mod in mattie which does what you need, we use it for all spade/bazooka/pistol/carbine etc fights.

..there is also a skinny version to just give pistols to all classes ala 1.3

Personally I don't have a problem going along with this kinda thing.

dod_risk's author asked that rifles/snipers/mg's be excluded from the map which we went along with and to great effect.

So could you use the same scripts to make the carbine a class again? Such as removing zooka and give them ammo for carbine, a pistol and nades

Kinda... but I would need to make the script only change if you choose a certain class and it would basically overwrite that class, so no bazooka or sniper for example.

I'm not sure whether you could have carbine and pistol as they both sit in slot 2, you wouldnt be able to drop them either.

Have to say from using the script all carbine battles are great fun tho.

You get more ammo every time u injure a player but it can be set so you only get more on actually killing a player.
