You install map like you install them on your DOD game.

Since here map download can be with inside folder already in it and sometime package with no folder at all it can be tricky. Best way is to unpack them in a empty floder to see if they have folder structure in it.

I you go on our download page, our file are always package the same way.

Install the files into your default dod directory. For example:
C:\Program files\Steam\SteamApps\*your-email*\day of defeat source\dod

Not sure what you do wrong but there is not much to it.

your game or a server has all the same directory structure. They all have a "dod" folder that is the root for content. Then you have a "maps" folder where .bsp file goes. If the bsp is in the dod/maps folder on you game and on the server, it should work. If not then you extracted them in the wrong place. restart the process again or shearch for the name of the bsp to find where it ended up.

Now to have a map come up in rotation you need to open the dod/mapcycle.txt file and add the name of the map you want to add in a rotation in this file and save it.

If this does not work and I have no idea how to explain it to you.

by the way the path I posted is not neseceraly where you game is

C:\Program files\Steam\SteamApps\*your-email*\day of defeat source\dod

actualy find where the steam folder is then open the SteamApps then your email should show as a directory then you should see the day of defeat source folder then the dod folder. If you exctract the file in the dod folder then all should be fine.

to have admin you need to add a admin tools .

Mani is one of them, but you will need to do some reading to get it working and please don't ask me to explain it to you. post on their forum for question on it

http://www.mani-admin-plugin.com

Now I have no idea why map do not rotate. maybe have someone to connect to it first.

On a normal server the file mapcycle.txt lists the maps in the map cycle.

It's in the dod folder of the server.
