Custom French textures

Those of you who have played Dijon probably noticed some custom textures throughout the map.

I just updated a pack of them, available to all at www.907th.com/Furyo. The previous pack was not HDR compliant (stupid me), so if you already knew of this pack and had downloaded it, you'll need to get it again.

The pack contains 20 custom French signs/shop windows textures, with a complete description of which means what in a readme file.

Anyone wanting help in getting some accurate French texts for their textures should feel free to get in touch with me so we can discuss it.

Get mapping :)

Good Stuff !!

Plz excuse this question , but what exactly are HDR compliant textures (other than the skybox textures)? What's the difference from regular textures?

:)

Furyo, totally off topic but I am wondering, are you fully French or are you of another nationality living in France... I ask because your English is extremely good :)

I'm French but was an exchange student in the US for a year (12th grade HS ftw...)

new_b, the thing is I had added the HDR specific code to the vmt (envmaptint, etc) and so the textures looked full bright (as if the cubemaps weren't built) when using full HDR.

I replaced the vmt with the usual glass vmt from HL2 (the original I used) and it works now in all LDR/HDR modes, hence the update

Thank you Furyo, these will come in handy for when I create some more realistic maps.
