Instead of playing with things like lights and having to recompile every time just to see the results, I 'd like to play with this stuff in the game with the console. What is the commands to adjust lighting in the game and isn't there a HUD you can bring up in the game to adjust stuff like that?

You cannot change the lighting in game, its precaclucated before.
