DJ station

(note: this is a dod:classic question)
I'm trying to make a working DJ station in this nightclub I have going, so the players can change the song that's playing in the background between 3 or 4 different wav files. I'm having a bit of trouble though.

I tried setting up some multis targeted by three different buttons...each multi would first kill the song playing through another multi, and then activate the new env_sound...but I can't seem to get it to work. I have to set one of the songs to be playing at the start of map so there's not a lack of sound there, but for some reason I can't get it to stop or the others to start.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi,

I have no idea, 'cause I'm no mapper.

Just wanted to let you know that I think this is a great idea ! !
Would love to see this in a DOD:S map as well (maybe with an old gramophone) !

did they have something l ike that in fy_party for cs 1.6, i think so, maybe if you winbsped it that might help. I would think the buttons triggering the multi's would work.

why don't you just have the buttons target the songs directly. and have one of the buttons set to on initially. set the buttons to toggle so when you hit them again the song stops playing.

if you tell it to kill, it will completely destroy the entity and you won't be able to play it again until the map reloads. i don't think you want that.
