It's a good looking site, but some things that would improve on it-

Don't use "u" like you did in the poll, looks really unproffesional. On the maps downloads, don't say things like

"please download"

Give a description, then your opinion, but don't ask for downloads

The site is bad and you should feel bad.

Very unprofessional. Stretched banner is more lose than the next leading brand.

Ok, great initiative, but the banner is repeating by the 1280/1024 resolution I use here at school.. It does'nt look professional..:

Okay, I have to say that when I'm home, I'll use the 1024/768 resolution, but is it's still not looking good..
I also don't like the standard template.... To dark

Yeah, maybe you should drop the login down into the menu bar and put the register button after the login one. And possibly put it all on the left side of the screen, roughly 10px away from the edge.

As for the banner, maybe something with more content, and more along the lines of what your site is about. A simple collage of hammer pics, custom maps, and some of the in game tools that are used when testing a map. Such as wireframe fading into the actual map (2 screens one wire one not fading into one another left-right or vice versa)

And as said before...proper English is a #1. You want people to go to you for help and you can't spell?? Not going to work.

Edit: Sorry, got so caught up in that I forgot to mention, good job :D
