and 442nd Regimental Combat Team that served valiently in Europe.
This group rec'd 18 medal of honor winners during WWII and should be honored.
Here is a site to learn more about them.

Actually it was REALLY difficult to make him look asian. I tried around alot but sometimes he just doesnt look asian. I came to the conclusion that it must be the 3D Model of the head that is not typical asian. Lets just consider him an american-asian mixture then ;)

It would be great if you had the specific uniform patches.

I've read about the Japanese -American soldiers.(and a Korean-American officer in 100th / 442nd.Col. Young Oak Kim (http://www.asiansinamerica.org/museum/0803_museum.html))
btw, who is Jong Hee?(that name sounds like a Korean)

Hi

The problem with the patches is that when oyu use them on the right arm they are displayed on the left too... Thats also the reason why i never make any armpatches.

heheh... i googled forever.. "japanese man" "japanese face" "korean face" "korean" "asian face" "asian man"... etc.

So i really dont know when that guy came up bu the pic was named Jong Hee :) Good possible that he is a korean living in USA. I got it from this (http://redox.tamu.edu/personnel.html) website.

Looks more Korean than Japanese, but still that's impressive work.

And there was a single Korean in the 442nd...

Perhaps an Asian-American with paratrooper patches and gear as well?

I recall that the 82nd Airborne had a Japanese-American soldier in it and the 101st had a few Chinese-Americans.

How about we just stick to normal faces. If you want asian faces, make some jap models for axis

That makes no sense... there were no Japanese-Americans fighting for the Germans even though both were Axis powers. Remember these are just skins... you choose to or choose not to use them if you want the normal faces. Just keep in mind that these men were the " most decorated unit " in WW2.

Don't be a ignorant putz. One more comment along these lines or attacking me or anyone else warning you will result in a ban.

Rascal: Nice work...I like how it's understated and not cartoonish...really realistic work.

I agree with Fuzz. Someone goes to the trouble to GIVE something to others. Only to be shot down about this or that. We need "Manner Police."

Oh btw Fuzz. I know your tired, so i will forgive your grammer.

Great work on the models rascal!! Are we going to see any Brithish models?

Well as far as being a WW2 history buff... this info on the Japanese-Americans should really be of great value to you. As far as the history books they never really mention racial divisions. Do you ever hear them say the predominantly white 3rd infantry division captured this or that. Although the books you have read may not have mentioned it , the US military deemed it appropriate to recognize their gallantry. Pls see thie link below to add to your WW2 knowledge base.

This statement is not totally true as the government does recognize their contributions. Lest you forget how America has helped Japan after the war... to the point of actually helping rebuild Japan from the ashes to what it is now. Not intended as a flame but you are one ignorant son of a biaatchh !!! Next time post something intelligent. BAKAERO !!! In case u don't speak Japanese that means " Stupid"

Both of you guys drop it. No need for a history lesson here. Just give your opinion on the models themselves.

lol you've forfeited the right to consider yourself a history buff if you didn't know about the nisei.

as for this whole topic, well. lets not sugar-coat our country's history. i'll leave it at that.

nice skin by the way, i like the faces but i think people are getting a bit "fabric-happy" with clothing. more and more skins are starting to like burlap potato sacks and less like cotton/wool.

its nice to see an effort to cover 'ethnic' units.
