New Day of Defeat Logo

After changing my flags to be "historical," I embarked on a quest to replace the Iron Crosses used in DoD. The Iron Cross featured in the menu bothered me, as I could not figure out how to replace it. After extensive serching, I located it in the DODlogo.ttf font file. After 5 hours, I taught myself Fontographer 4.1 and produced a functional replacement with attributes that DoD would accept (Why must it overwrite the file!? It took me a while to realize it had to be Read Only! ).

Anyway, here is how it looks:

Once I am sure I've replaced all of the Iron Crosses, I might be persuaded to release my pack. ;)

Agreed. Its too white in comparison with the other text. Good concept/work though.

It is just as white as the other text (if you don't believe me, just take a sampling of the two colors in Photoshop). :) I think it is the darker background giving the illusion of it being brighter. As this is a True Type Font file, another file (clientscheme.res, I think) codes for the color.

I think it would be cool if you made the allied symbol a flag. Kinda like the icons Plantina posted only white. Not sure how it would look though.
