Hi, I'm sure you remember back from Retail days when I released my many headshot sets. Anyway I took time off from modelling for a few reasons:
1. I have final exams coming up
2. Source was coming up and I didnt think I wanted to do anything more for Retail
3. I was losing interest in DoD

Now with my finals starting tomorrow, I'm thinking that afterwards I want to get back into it. I see a whole pile of tuts in this forum but what I really want to know is this.
What is the best program to use for Source if you are used to using Milkshape 3D?
I have all the texturing tools I need (Adope Photoshop 7) but just need a good modelling program. I dont have really any money to spend so preferably a free one.
Thank You and you will be rewarded by the return of splatter headshots!

BTW, I post in the tut forum. Any admins feel free to delete it.

You can still use Milkshape3D to model for source - the only thing you can't do with it is vertex weighting.

The free alternative is XSI Mod too which is the *preferred* modelling tool but can be quite a learning curve.
