Ok I need some help here, I the lighting on my map, is coming from a different place than the light entity, I've tried both light_enviorments, and just plain lights, but it always comes from that direction

You have to set an angle(where the light comes from) and a pitch (-90 being midday,40/50 being the afternoon) in your light_envirronement to set the light's direction.
The placement of your light_envirronement in your map has nothing to do with the light origin.

Maybe thats where your problem is.

Yeah light_envrionment is just an entity that controls global light, the angles define the direction of the light, you can also select PICK under angles and click anywhere in the map to select the direction in relation to the entity that the light casts

well I tried messing with the angle and pitch

Pitch was at 75, and the map refused to compile, I gave it 10 minutes and it was stuck, before it took about 10 secs

I'm looking for dusk lighting

when u have more in your map, expect a longer compile. eventually, its gonna take a day.

If you want dusk lighting with no shadows try a pitch of +90

I have everything you see in that screenshot, it bumped up to never ending compile just by changing the Pitch of my light_enviorment

If you have hardly ay entites in the map yet then go to map>entity report and delete every entity then place a new light_environment

If you have alot of entities then use the dordon bounds to compile your map in sections untill u find the problem area then narrow it down from there
