*** Updated Pictures on Page 2 ***

Been working on these for a few days, almost ready to release.

Just the default axis models wearing splinter-A pattern camouflage. Will be available with or without camo helmet. Also added extra wrinkles to the fabric of the chest, arms, and back, since I've found most custom skins so far to be completely flat.

Still need to add:

- Stitching to uniform
- Eagle pin
- Rank insignia
- Inner sleeves need camo removed
- Dirt to pants, boots
- Collar needs reskinned
- Shoulder rank insignia needs reskinned
- Gear might get some touch-ups.

I'm using the belt buckle from Rotz's newly released camo skin pack as well. Hopefully that is okay with him.

Other than that, shading, wrinkles, and normal map are all complete.

Screenies:

Thoughts? Suggestions? STFU n00b?

Wow.. Those are nice... I think I'll have to give those a wirl when you're done... I don't usually use the historically accurate stuff, but I like the look of these...

pretty nice,.....but i think that the wehrmacht icon on the helmet could be removed since we are talking about a helmet with a camouflaged cover.

Take a look. (http://germanhelmetsinc.com/Gallery%20Wehr%20cover0001.jpg)

Also, I'd like to add some historically accurate infantry bits to this, so if anyone could point me in the direction of photos of actual, or figurines, of werhmact wearing splinter camo, I'd appreciate it.

Specifically, I'd like to know what kind of shoulder rank badges they wore. The gear will be given a bit of splinter camo tint, as well. I know the water canteen and zeltbahn on the back were also splinter.

I got some others as well, maybe they help you with the skins. Also note that your Splittermuster pattern is way to dark, the originals did not have any dark spots. I´m not talking about the old and worn original pieces here, but also reproductions dont have any black elements like your texture has.

Rotzbua got the Splittertarnmuster quite good as far as I can see. I have a splinter reproduction zeltbahn flying around here somewhere, so maybe I can take some pictures of it.

it would be nice to have different player models for each class, with different faces and skins,....that would be optimal...simply as it was in the previous version.

Updated pictures:

Added the splinter-A camo to the Zeltbahn, added the camo collar (need to remove the undershirt camo. Oops!), added the stitching/crease on the sleeves, added dirt to the pants and boots, fixed a helmet seam, added more helmet loops to match the M42 camo cover accuracy, and added shading where the gear straps are on the uniform.

Still need to add:

- Rank insignia on sleeve
- Wermacht eagle on uniform
- Gloves to hands (will be optional)

Also, I've made a sleeve to match these, I'll release it together with these.

After looking at them again your normal maps are a little wierd Dill. You seem to have made them with the camo on so the different shades of the camo look like they're, say, patched on. It would probably look more realistic if you made the normal without the camo in it.

looks nice, although in my opinion the brown and green parts should have less rounded corners.
